<strong><em>The
 United States (US) and Nigeria have agreed to establish groups, focused
 on strengthening security cooperation, the economy and tackling 
corruption, after a day-long dialogue at the State Department.</em></strong><br>

In a joint statement, the countries said the groups would come up with a paper work within a month to finalise the goals.<br>

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, is meeting the US Secretary of
 State, Mr John Kerry, Thursday on the sidelines of a two-day nuclear 
security summit in Washington DC, comprising of leaders from at least 50
 countries.<br>

Understanding with Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company in Nnewi, 
Anambra state, to address difficulties encountered in procuring spare 
parts.</strong></em><br>

The agreement is aimed at ensuring adequate maintenance of the Air Force’s air fleet.<br>

It was announced by Air Vice Marshal James Gbum, who led a delegation
 of top senior officers of the Nigerian Air Force on a visit to Anambra 
State Governor, Willie Obiano, at the Governor’s Lodge in Amawbia.<br>

killed in one night at Omoku, 4 persons killed in Obibi Etche in one 
day, somebody burnt alive in Buguma, another person buried alive in 
Gokana, someone clubbed to death in Opobo and so on and so forth. What a
 gory tale fit for primitive societies. It is not only worrisome but it 
diminishes our humanness.</span></span></div>

the state is more than justifiable and the story line being peddled in 
some quarters that the military are killing people is not true. What you

<em><strong>Attention is now shifting to Rivers State, where a re-run election is scheduled to hold on Saturday.</strong></em><br />

Reports from Channels Television’s correspondent, Charles Erukka, 
indicate that there is heavy security presence of both soldiers and 
policemen.<br />

There is massive land and air surveillance, as helicopters are seen 
hovering round the city of Port Harcourt to identify any dark spot that 
will need any security beef up before or during Saturday’s re-run, Mr 
Eruka said.<br />

The Inspector General of police had deployed 6,000 policemen to 
Rivers State and there has been apprehension among politicians 
particularly the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over the heavy 
deployment.<br />

While the PDP is holding the last lap of its rallies in Bori 
Township, the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee
 is holding its meeting in Port Harcourt.<br />

The Rivers State re-run election is holding in the three senatorial 
districts, 11 House of Representatives and 22 State Assembly Seats.<br />

Few days ago, the <a href="http://www.channelstv.com/2016/03/12/189565/">PDP and the APC were in war of words</a> over the re-run election and the recent killings in the state.</div>

of Police, Solomon Arase, has faulted the killings saying the casualty
