..... Emeka Ikwuagwu Foundation to donate 600 made in Aba shoes to pupils in Abia North.
The Governor of Abia State,Dr.Okezie Ikpeazu has continued to encourage and call on industrialists in the State to find a ground to partner with the Government so as to create wealth and touch welfare of Abians.
The Governor made the call when he received the leadership of Emeka Ikwuagwu Foundation, who paid a courtesy call on the Governor at the Government House, Umuahia.
Dr.Ikpeazu expressed happiness that People are embracing his call for partnership and support which in turn will help to make Abia better.
Earlier in his Speech, the founder of the Foundation, Mr Emeka Ikwuagwu said that the visit to Government house, was to intimate the Governor on how the Foundation is giving back to the Society in support of his administration.
The Estate Surveyor who explained some of the hurdles he passed as a Barber and Okada rider in Isiukwato, said that he is poised to do more in Abia.
According to him, prior to the Foundation's engagement in the State's "Free Sandals to School Initiatives" the foundation has done several projects which includes scholarships to Students, distribution of writing materials to schools as well as establishment of Skills acquisition programme that has engaged over 88 youths in the State. The Foundation also has 80 widows on its steady payroll.
